Overview

Hello Patient is an enterprise healthcare AI platform built around "Mia," an AI assistant that handles patient communication across voice, text, and chat. The platform serves high-volume medical practices (dentistry, dermatology, orthopedics, urgent care, veterinary, and more), automating everything from appointment scheduling to insurance verification to patient follow-ups.
I designed and developed the Hello Patient website and integrated real-time voice-driven data entry into the production system, translating spoken user input into structured backend records that flow directly into EHR and CRM systems.

Technical Highlights

Real-time speech processing that captures patient information during live calls

My Role

I designed and developed the Hello Patient website and built the real-time voice-driven data entry system. The core challenge was translating natural spoken input into structured backend records that flow directly into EHR and CRM systems. This is closely aligned with field reporting use cases where quick, structured logging is required without friction.
Key features I built on the website:
Live voice demo embedded on the homepage where visitors call and interact with Mia across 6 medical specialties
Live text demo with SMS integration for the text-based flow
Real-time transcript display showing the conversation as it happens
Specialty switching so visitors can hear how Mia adapts to different practice types
Responsive, conversion-focused design driving visitors toward demo bookings

The Result

The platform has handled 2.2M+ conversations, 504K+ calls, and 1.8M+ messages across practices nationwide. Practices using Hello Patient see 18% more appointments booked (an average of 3 more per location per day) and a 95% reduction in patient wait times.
