Pursuit of X is an EdTech platform helping Hong Kong youth aged 15–25 through self-discovery, career exposure, and real-world work experience — from guided assessments to internships and mentorships.
Pursuit of X — landing experience with animated journey stages
The Challenge
The platform serves fundamentally different users: students working through a gamified journey of self-discovery, and admins managing programs, assessments, and progression. Each role needed its own experience on a shared data model, and the assessment scoring logic had to be reliable enough to shape real guidance for young people.
What I Built
Multi-role architecture — separate student and admin experiences with role-based access, built on a shared Supabase backend
Gamified progression — students move through a staged journey (Who am I? → What does the world need? → How can I create value?) with clear visual progress
Assessments & scoring logic — guided self-discovery assessments with structured scoring that feeds each student's profile
Polished marketing site — animated landing experience with orbiting visuals, testimonials, and waitlist signup
2025/26 waitlist — program signup and video section
Multi-role EdTech platform for Hong Kong youth aged 15–25 — student and admin roles, gamified progression, assessments, and scoring logic. Built with Next.js, Supabase, and Tailwind CSS.
