Silver Sparrow Goods is a leather working business that needed a bold, cohesive identity to stand out in its industry and connect with its audience. This project focused on developing a strategic brand foundation, crafting a distinct visual identity—including logo, typography, color palette, and brand elements—and extending the brand’s presence across key touchpoints such as apparel and social media.
Our mission? Create a brand that not only resonates visually but also strengthens engagement, builds recognition, and ensures consistency across all platforms.

The Strategy

Our approach began with discovery—immersing ourselves in the brand’s vision, values, and long-term goals. Through conversations with the client, we identified key brand pillars and ensured the identity would align with their mission. A competitive audit provided insight into the landscape, helping us understand how they could carve out a unique space while staying true to its core audience.
Speaking of the audience, we uncovered a common thread among them: a deep appreciation for what they carry every day. From doctors to blue-collar workers, they value items that are timeless, well-crafted, and built to last a lifetime—all while looking good in the process.
To guide the brand’s direction, we established a set of defining characteristics: timeless yet modern, classic, high-quality, rugged, and authentic. These attributes shaped every aspect of the brand identity, ensuring it resonated with the right people while standing out in a competitive market.

The Symbol

Designing the logo was all about striking the perfect balance—something clean, timeless, and instantly recognizable, whether pressed into leather or displayed digitally. Enter the sparrow: a symbol of freedom, precision, and craftsmanship, but with a unique twist.
The clean, geometric design gives it a timeless yet modern feel, ensuring it won’t look outdated in five, ten, or even twenty years. Simplicity was key, allowing the logo to be effortlessly pressed into leather products, remaining crisp and recognizable even at the smallest sizes.
The result? A mark that feels effortless yet intentional—one that blends seamlessly with the brand’s rugged, high-quality products while standing the test of time, just like the items it represents.

The Typography

When it came to type, we needed something that felt timeless, versatile, and effortlessly readable across any medium—whether pressed into leather, printed on packaging, or displayed on a future website. Enter Inter.
Yes, Inter gets used a lot, but for good reason. Its clean, modern design ensures legibility at any size, making it perfect for everything from product embossing to digital interfaces. With a wide range of weights, it offers flexibility while maintaining a consistent look and feel.
Most importantly, it’s a typeface built to last—just like the brand itself.

The Colors

Color played a crucial role in this brand’s identity. Like everything else, it needed to feel timeless, complement the products rather than overpower them, and still create a distinct presence in the market.
Leather comes in a wide range of tones and textures, so we opted for a neutral, earthy paletteforest green, tans, and deep browns—to ensure harmony across all materials. But we also wanted a signature color to make the brand stand out. That’s where the bold, brighter red comes in—a striking contrast that draws attention across digital and physical mediums.
The result is a palette that feels classic yet fresh, allowing the brand to be both understated and eye-catching when it matters most.

The Brand Elements

Every brand touchpoint needed to feel unapologetically us—simple, timeless, and refined. From social media graphics to business cards, packaging, and apparel, we kept things minimal yet impactful, letting the products and photography take center stage.
Using our logo, colors, and typography, we created a cohesive system that feels effortless but instantly recognizable. The result? A brand presence that’s subtle when it needs to be, but impossible to ignore when it counts.
