Overview
Zest Organics, a Canadian natural juice company, launched a new kids’ product line called Zippies Juice Boxes. The goal was to create engaging, playful packaging and branding for children while maintaining the healthy, natural identity of Zest Organics.
The Challenge
The original Zest Organics juices targeted adults, so the new Zippies line needed to:
• Stand out in a crowded kids’ juice market
• Attract children with fun, vibrant visuals
• Communicate natural, healthy ingredients to parents
• Encourage active play with an energetic, positive brand message
My Role
I led the branding and packaging design, including:
• Concept development for the full Zippies identity
• Designing three juice boxes: Berry Zippy, Tropical Zippy, and Melon Zippy
• Creating unique characters for each flavor
• Designing promotional posters featuring the “Play Hard, Drink Smart” message
• Ensuring the designs were visually appealing, informative, and aligned with Zest Organics’ values

• Determined that bold colors, simple layouts, and character-led branding would be the most effective.
