šŸŽ¬ Crypto Conference Shorts – Abstract (via Cliplytics) Project Type: Client Project / Short-Form Content Editing My Role: Selection and editing of viral short-form clips from conference live streams

šŸ” Project Overview

This project involved creating 5 short-form videos for Abstract, a company operating in the crypto industry, delivered through Cliplytics, where I worked as a subcontractor.
The task was to review long live-stream recordings from TOKEN2049 Dubai 2025 and extract short 10–15 second clips with strong viral potential. The footage featured a host interviewing well-known personalities from the crypto industry during the conference.
My responsibility was to carefully watch the provided recordings, identify the most engaging and shareable moments, and turn them into short, high-retention videos suitable for social media. Most selected clips focused on humorous and meme-driven moments, while one short presented a more serious and informative conversation with a crypto industry expert.

šŸ› ļø What I Did

I focused on viral potential, pacing, and audience retention:
Reviewed long live-stream recordings from TOKEN2049 Dubai
Selected the most engaging and shareable fragments
Created 5 short-form videos (10–15 seconds each)
Built strong hooks and fast pacing
Removed pauses and unnecessary moments
Enhanced humor and meme potential
Maintained clear and engaging interview flow
Implemented client feedback through Slack communication

šŸ’” Tools & Techniques

Edited in DaVinci Resolve, with project coordination via Slack, Dropbox, and Google Drive.
Key techniques used:
– Animated captions and text on screen – Sound effects for engagement – Clipping and precise cuts – Meme elements and emojis – Jump cuts between two cameras – Pause removal and pacing optimization – Icons and simple motion graphics – Hooks and attention-grabbing openings – Zooms and dynamic framing

šŸŽÆ Purpose

This project demonstrates my ability to extract viral short-form content from long recordings, identify engaging moments, and create fast-paced social media videos for tech and crypto brands.
It highlights strong skills in content selection, pacing, and audience-focused editing — essential for companies and creators who want to turn live events and interviews into engaging short-form content for social media.
