GymItNow ERP

I conceptualized, designed, developed, deployed and maintained a subscription based ERP system for gym management for use by multiple gyms across India (and maybe across the world) from scratch.

The project is based on Python with Django, Django Rest Framework, MySQL for backend and mobile app APIs, and HTML5, JS, jQuery, CSS, SASS for web front-end.

The aim of the client was to provide a complete gym management solution to gyms through this project. The client along with an administration team, can on-board new gyms and collect their documentation. The owners of said gym can manage their gym including new inquiries, gym members, activities in the gym, multiple types of memberships, member attendance, employee management along with permission based access to GymIt portal to individual employee.

The project also includes integration of payment gateway to collect subscription fee from gyms and SMS Gateway to allow gyms to communicate with their members.

Mobile Apps for Android and iOS based on Flutter were developed by team member and APIs for the same apps were developed by me using Django Rest framework

Overall, the project has been a great success with multiple gyms being on-boarded every month. There is a lot of scope for adding new features to the product and it is still in active development.

I learnt a great deal working on this project, including not just the technologies and frameworks used in the development of this project, but also time management, managing expectations and better estimation of amount of work.
