Sparedot – A Smarter Way to Save

Overview

Sparedot is a mobile app designed to help users save effortlessly by rounding up spare change from daily transactions. With support for both fiat and crypto savings, the app also enables seamless bill payments, money transfers, and account management.

The primary goal was to create a seamless and intuitive user experience that encourages users to save passively while also managing their financial transactions efficiently. Key challenges included:

Simplifying onboarding while ensuring compliance with KYC regulations.

Enabling users to securely link their bank accounts for automated savings.

Designing a dashboard that provides clear insights into savings, transactions, and linked accounts.

Streamlining payments, fund transfers, and bill settlements within the app.

I designed a structured and user-friendly app flow, focusing on:

Onboarding & KYC – A smooth registration process with BVN verification to ensure security and compliance.

Dashboard Design – A clean, intuitive interface displaying balances, linked accounts, and transaction history.

Automated Savings – Secure bank integration to round up spare change and save in either fiat or stablecoins.

Payments & Transfers – A simple, guided process for sending money, purchasing airtime, and paying utility bills.

Security & Support – Multi-factor authentication, biometric login, and live chat support for a secure and convenient experience.

The result was a highly functional and user-friendly app that simplified personal finance management. By integrating smart savings automation, streamlined transactions, and strong security measures, Sparedot empowers users to take control of their finances with ease.
