Hiring hasn’t changed much in decades.
Recruiters still scan resumes, scroll through tables, and rely on static filters.
So I asked:
What if hiring wasn’t about scanning resumes… but exploring talent?
For the
hashtag#FigmaMakeathon, I built TheHireLens
https://thehirelens.figma.site/, an interactive prototype that turns job descriptions into living skill galaxies.
Instead of ranking candidates in a list, recruiters see talent spatially.
Candidates orbit around required skills.
Shortlisting becomes intentional, not mechanical.
And AI explains every decision transparently.
This project explores how interaction design can reshape high-impact workflows like hiring.
Built entirely using Figma Make.
