I created thousands of icons for https://maybe.co to be used across their apps. One for every single company and ETF on the stock market. In total, there are over 6000 total icons all formatted and structured properly for use across the company's software.
The goal of the project was to create icons that are visually appealing and easy to recognize at multiple size points. From small icons on a phone screen to larger screens on a desktop, the icons needed to be easy to spot across systems.
One challenge with this was the sheer repetition of formatting thousands of logos, but with a dedicated workflow and system, I was able to get this done ahead of schedule.
In addition, many of the companies and ETFs don't have an official logo or if they did, there was no high-resolution version available on the web. I had to hand-create hundreds of logos to accommodate this issue.
