Disappearance of brandon lawson

On August 9, 2013. Brandon Lawson was reported missing after having an odd phone conversation with his brother, Kyle. Mr. Brandon Lawson is a 26-year-old oil field worker who has a girlfriend named ladessa Lofton. They have lived in San Angelo, Texas, for more than ten years. Mr lawson is about 5ft 9inches tall with four children.

Everything began on August 8, 2013, precisely between 10:45 and 11:00 p.m., when Mr. Lawson arrived at the residence where he shared with Ladessa. When Mr. Lawson got home, he and Ladessa had a disagreement, but Ladessa thought Mr. Lawson was high at the time. At 11:30 p.m, after the heated argument, Mr. Lawson informed his father that evening that he would be visiting his home in Crowley, Texas, which is roughly three hours away from San Angelo. Later that evening, at 11:54pm, Mr lawson entered his silver ford as he drove out of the house.

On August 9, 2013, around 12:30 am, Lawson gave his brother Kyle a call to let him know that he had run out of gas halfway between San Angelo and Bronte on US Route 77. He went on to tell his brother that their Mexican neighbor was pursuing him. When Kyle enquired as to whether he was high, Mr. Lawson insisted he wasn't. Kyle kept calling Mr lawson, but Lawson never engaged in conversation, usually hanging up after a few words. Mr. Lawson called 9-1-1 at 12:50 a.m. to report his emergency, ask for police assistance, and state that he was being pursued to a field. Shortly after a reporter reported on Mr. Lawson's missing case, a truck driver discovered Mr. Lawson's car and called 9-1-1 to report its location.

When Mr. Lawson's brother Kyle called him at 1:18am in the morning, Mr. Lawson appeared to be having trouble breathing and told him that he was bleeding profusely. When a sheriff later showed up at Mr. Lawson's car, he was unable to locate Mr. Lawson inside the vehicle. Kyle soon followed and encountered the sheriff near the truck. As he approached his car, Mr. Lawson was speaking with Kyle on the phone. Over the phone, Mr. Lawson admitted to Kyle that while he could see him, neither Kyle nor the police could. Kyle believed that Mr. Lawson was hiding from the police because he had an arrest warrant out for him for using drugs illegally. After Kyle and the sheriff exchanged words, they both left the area without finding Mr. Lawson. In the hopes that he would emerge, Kyle kept driving. He chose to leave the gas can next to the car in the hopes that Kyle would come get it after he had parked. When Kyle got back to the truck at five in the morning, he was shocked to see that Kyle had not gone back. Mr. Lawson's car was towed away by the police at precisely 8:00am.

As the police continue to look into the disappearance scene, a search party was formed after he vanished. A Facebook page called "help find Brandon lawson" was created by Mr. Lawson's family and friends.The family of Mr. Lawson announced on Facebook on February 4, 2022, that Mr. Lawson's clothing had been discovered by a search party not far from his last known location. They added that human remains were discovered nearby by Texas rangers, and it was thought that these remains belonged to Mr. Lawson. The remains' DNA analysis was not finished as of August 2023.
