SÓLAS FÍNE FRAGRANÇE — Sensory Packaging & Luxury Identity
Project Overview: Sólas Fíne Fragrançe is an artisanal luxury house rooted in the ancient Gaelic philosophy of solas—meaning light, comfort, and divine illumination. Designed as an olfactory sanctuary, the brand elevates high-concentration Extrait de Parfum into a deeply personal daily ritual.
THE PROBLEM: High-end fragrance packaging often relies on sterile, mass-produced luxury tropes that fail to communicate the intimate, spiritual relationship consumers have with personal scent rituals.
THE SOLUTION: Sólas bridges ancient botanical ritual with modern architectural packaging. Through heavyweight tactile materials, Gaelic typography, and custom glass silhouettes, the brand identity transforms high-concentration Extrait de Parfum from a cosmetic product into a tangible, sacred daily ritual.
The Sacred Ritual & Spiritual Architecture: The soul of Sólas centers on the sacred, ancient ritual of burning aged resin and sacred botanicals—an unspoken bridge between the physical and the spiritual. Fragrance is framed not as a superficial cosmetic, but as an invisible vessel for guidance, liberation, and quiet solace.
Packaging & Tactile Experience:
• Monolithic Bottle Design: Heavyweight architectural glass topped with a carved natural timber cap, representing the grounding force of raw earth against fluid, light-filled fragrance.
• Tactile Labeling: Textured off-white cotton paper featuring blind-embossed Gaelic typography and gold foil accents.
• Color & Scent Architecture: Warm Botanical Resin, Aged Oud, Smoked Amber, and Sunlight Gold—capturing the transition from dense smoke to glowing light.
