Chegg Life helps students and early-career individuals navigate major life transitions with ease, clarity, and a touch of fun. This carousel series was created to demystify personal finance tips for young adults living independently for the first time, using an engaging, accessible visual style.

🎯 Project Objective

Design a dynamic, scrollable Instagram carousel to:
Empower Gen Z students and new grads with simple, practical financial tips
Align with Chegg’s brand tone of being friendly, encouraging, and solutions-oriented
Drive engagement and saves through colorful, relatable content that feels made for them, not at them

🧠 Creative Strategy

The series blended financial literacy with bold, youthful design, pairing real-world advice with a playful tone and highly visual layouts. Each tip was designed to feel bite-sized, manageable, and positive — avoiding traditional finance content’s overwhelming or dry tone.
The structure combined:
Numbered posts (for easy carousel flow)
Punchy headline takeaways
Brief, digestible body text
Bright, layered backgrounds for movement and energy

🎨 Visual Style

Palette: Warm gradient tones (oranges, corals, teals) evoking optimism and energy
Typography: Mix of bold sans-serif headlines with handwritten-style script for key phrases
Textures: Subtle dot patterns, wave graphics, and star/emoji accents to keep it lively
