The project centred around the development of a Machine Learning system dedicated to face classification, specifically tailored for 3D face classification utilizing machine learning tools. Notably, the data collection phase incorporated iPhone LiDAR sensors to capture high-resolution 3D facial data, enhancing the accuracy and depth of the classification process. The system leveraged advanced machine learning algorithms to analyse the collected data and classify faces based on various attributes or characteristics. Additionally, the project prioritized user privacy and data security, implementing measures to safeguard sensitive facial data throughout the process. The resulting Machine Learning system for face classification was part of a system used for retail applications.
