Overview

Huayculi Moldea is a cultural website created for artisans from Huayculi, Tarata, a community known for its ceramic and pottery tradition.
The project focused on giving local makers a clearer digital presence where their craft, story, and products could be presented in a more professional and accessible way.

Challenge

The artisans needed more than a simple online catalog. Their work carries cultural value, local identity, and handmade detail, but without a strong digital presence it was harder for buyers to understand the story behind the pieces or contact them directly.
The challenge was to create a website that felt warm, authentic, and easy to navigate while still looking professional enough to build trust with new visitors.

Goal

The goal was to build a digital experience that could:
Present Huayculi's ceramic tradition with clarity and respect
Showcase the work of local artisans in a more organized way
Make it easier for buyers and visitors to discover the project
Create a direct path from interest to contact
Preserve the cultural story behind the craft

Solution

I designed and structured a website that combines storytelling, visual hierarchy, and clear navigation. The experience highlights the cultural background of Huayculi, presents the ceramic work with stronger visual focus, and guides visitors toward learning more or getting in touch.

The final structure was built around simple sections: project story, artisan work, visual examples, context, and contact. This keeps the experience easy to understand while giving the project a more credible and polished presence.

My Role

I worked on the website direction, page structure, visual design, and implementation. The focus was to turn a local cultural project into a clear digital experience that could communicate both product value and cultural meaning.

Result

The final website gives Huayculi Moldea a stronger online presence and a clearer way to present its ceramic tradition to buyers, visitors, and people interested in local craft.

"We don't only sell ceramics, we share our culture. The website gave us a professional image we didn't have before."
