Overview

Bryce Willem is a creative director. He'd lost his job and was applying for new roles, so he needed a portfolio that showed the people hiring both his work and how he thinks. He brought his own visual direction, and I structured and built the site around it and designed the motion.

The challenge

Bryce needed a site that could:
Show his work to the people hiring
Show how he thinks, not just what he made
Be live while he was applying

What I built

Thinking first, then the work. Each project opens with the thinking behind it, so someone hiring sees how he got to the work before they see the work itself.
Built from his direction. Bryce knew what he wanted it to look like, and my job was to give it structure and bring it to life.
Motion he singled out. I designed the motion, which happens to be the part he mentions in his review (no complaints here).

The result

Bryce landed a new job a couple of months after the site went live.

Client testimonial

"Fantastic motion design, responsive communication, and a final result I'm truly happy with. Would gladly work together again."
— Bryce Willem, Creative Director & Brand Lead at Sona
