Social Media Manager for The School of Experience Design
I have recently began working with the School of Experience Design as a parttime Social Media Manager beginning in November 2025. In this role I am responsible for creating effective social media and marketing strategies to promote trainings, keynote talks and miscellaneous projects of the instructors within the company.
My first task in this role was to concept and execute a social media strategy for LinkedIn to promote, The Experience Design Building Blocks, a guidebook about the eight building blocks that make up a solid workflow for experience designers.
I knew that the audience for this guidebook were a group of people more established in their careers as experience designers as this book is not intended for beginners in the field. Because of this I wanted to create short and easy to follow animatics for LinkedIn to pair with heartfelt text to go along with each one to post on the author's personal LinkedIn. We began this campaign a little over two months before the book launch date. This created the perfect opportunity of making a post once a week for each of the 8 building blocks on LinkedIn to give small snippets of the book for the audience.
Outcome : my campaign got well over 100 viewers to signup for the pre-order of the book. This resulted in a base of 100 people purchasing the book the day of launch.
