Proctolog.info — informational medical website

This project is an informational website for a local proctology clinic. It is primarily used to inform and explain their clients the services they offer. But it is also used as the main online representation of the clinic.

The website is rebuilt from scratch, but is based on former pages. These pages primarily host big amounts of texts, so they are optimized for the proper reading experience. The text is made to be clear thanks to a good Open Sans font, as well as a good choice of font size, weight, and color — every label passes required accessibility standard.

As the website is very static, and barely has any interactivity, I've used a technology best suited for such cases — the Astro framework. This allowed to reach a great speed for both initial and subsequent downloads, and spare it of any need to execute heaps of JavaScript code. This decision made the website easily accessible on slow metered connections, as well as low-end devices.
