Escola Comum; which translate to “Common School” in English is an NGO in brazil that works to strengthen democracy by promoting political education for youth in situations of social vulnerability. They offer course and provide a space for young people to express their opinions and learn about topics such as law, economics, political science, sustainability and public policies with specialists in the field, including activities for which they are pushed to reflect on the main contemporary challenges.

To create a distinct and effective visual identity for Escola Comum, I arrived at a unique solution to create a unique Identity that not only leverage the brand’s story, mission and vision but that also refelects brazil’s backstory and the greater goal of creating a better Brazil without making it boring and literal.

The supporting assets which include a series of dynamic patterns and vibrant colours tells a relatable story of what Escola Comum stands for.
