Hypothesis:

By implementing a personalized popup based on the engagement a visitor has with a specific model, we can convince them to book more test drive and consequently increase business sales.

Description:

On each page of the website, a certain score was assigned (e.g homepage: 20 points, get a quote form: 80 points, etc.). The rule to enter this test was for a visitor to reach an engagement score threshold of 100 points for a specific model.

E.g: The visitor visited the following pages

  • Homepage: 20points
  • Range Rover Evoque product page: 40 points
  • Range Rover Evoque Download Brochure: 60 points



✅ Threshold reached



Then, the traffic in the test was randomly sent to 4 different versions:



v1: no pop up.

v2: A side pop up.

v3: A floating pop up.

v4: A bottom-banner pop up (the winning version)



Results:

The experiment resulting in more than €1M added to the pipeline.
