I designed and built BidRok, an early-access estimating workspace for specialty subcontractors. It brings PDF and image drawings into a calibrated takeoff canvas with linear, area and count measurements. Reusable assemblies apply materials and labour to measured quantities, while live estimates recalculate when rates, assemblies or quantities change.
The workflow connects takeoff to a branded, client-ready quote, with traceable prices, assumptions and changes. AI assistance is designed to help estimators investigate unknowns, suggest assemblies and handle repetitive work while keeping review and decisions with the team.
My contribution: product ownership and full-stack implementation. Stack: Astro, TypeScript, Bun, SQL, Tailwind CSS and OpenAI. BidRok is in early access; no customer outcome or usage metrics are claimed.
