Synack. B2B Video Branding and Editing for a leading Cybersecurity Company.
I worked several years as core creative partner to Synack, a global cybersecurity leader, building the motion language that ran across their video content, social, and a Nasdaq billboard in Times Square. I worked along their internal design team led by Inna Knysheva, adding motion graphic elements to their logo and Brand assets for a more consistent look throughout their video productions.
Client: Synack
Industry: Cybersecurity
Role: Video Editor, Motion DesignerProduction Coordinator
Tools: After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop.
Scope: Hourly Based. Multi-year retainer.
The brief
Cybersecurity marketing has a specific problem: the product is abstract, the buyers are technical, and the category defaults to stock footage of padlocks and scrolling code. Synack needed a video identity that carried real brand authority to a technical audience, and it needed to be a system rather than a set of one-offs — repeatable enough to scale across global platforms without diluting as volume grew.
Logo Video Branding & Identity
Designed and built the core motion graphics framework for Synack's video branding. Every subsequent piece of video content and marketing material derived from this foundation, which is what held brand coherence together as output scaled.
Nasdaq Times Square Banner
Built a seamless-loop motion graphics ad from the brand animation system, which ran on the Nasdaq billboard in Times Square. Large-format public display is unforgiving — the loop point has to be invisible, the type has to read at distance and at speed, and there's no second pass once it's up.
Ethical Hacker Retreat, Costa Rica
Production Coordinator and Lead Editor on a sizzle reel covering a private retreat for Synack's elite hacker team. Handled logistics, hired and managed a local videographer crew in Costa Rica, and directed the capture remotely. Cut and finished the piece myself so the energy of the event landed at the same standard as the rest of the brand.
The Synack Red Team Series
Led full motion graphics post-production on an explainer series translating abstract cybersecurity concepts — specifically what it means to work as a Red Team ethical hacker — into clear visual narratives. Retreat footage was recut into this series to show the actual perks and culture of joining the Red Team, so the recruitment argument came with evidence attached.
The result
The partnership defined Synack's visual identity across digital and physical space, from social bumpers to Times Square. It's also the blueprint for how I approach B2B content at scale: build a repeatable motion pipeline first, then manage remote production against it, so volume doesn't cost quality.
