PowerCraft is an open-world first-person sandbox game that teaches players how electricity powers the modern world through exploration, experimentation, and hands-on construction.
Players start on an undeveloped island with no infrastructure and gradually build an electrified civilization from the ground up. They gather resources, construct generators, install transformers, connect power lines, illuminate villages, and expand power networks across the world.
Unlike traditional educational tools, PowerCraft does not rely on lessons or tutorials. Players learn naturally through gameplay by solving real infrastructure challenges and seeing the direct impact of electricity on communities and development.
The project was designed and built using Figma Make to rapidly prototype gameplay systems, user interfaces, interactions, and the overall player experience.
PowerCraft aims to make electrical infrastructure, renewable energy, and grid systems accessible, engaging, and memorable through immersive gameplay.
