Process: To begin the project, I conducted a discovery session with the church leadership team to gain a deep understanding of Coastwide Church's history, vision, and target audience. Through this collaborative process, we identified the key attributes and values that would serve as the foundation for the brand identity design.
Next, I developed several logo concepts that symbolized Coastwide Church's mission and values. After presenting these concepts to the client and gathering their feedback, I refined the selected logo design and created various formats and color variations to ensure versatility across all media.
I also created a color palette that combined calming, coastal-inspired hues with vibrant accents to represent the church's welcoming atmosphere and dynamic community. The typography was carefully chosen to complement the logo and enhance readability across various applications.
To establish a cohesive visual language, I designed custom graphic elements, patterns, and imagery that reflected Coastwide Church's identity and values. These elements were incorporated into the stationery design, marketing collaterals, and digital assets, ensuring a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.
Lastly, I developed a comprehensive brand guidelines document that outlined the proper usage of the logo, color palette, typography, and other visual elements. This document was provided to the church staff and volunteers to maintain brand consistency and integrity.
