Project Overview:
This project involved the design and development of a new General Hospital in Pljevlja, Montenegro, commissioned through a competitive design process. The goal was to create a state-of-the-art healthcare facility that meets contemporary healthcare standards and provides high-quality care to the community. The project included the design of both the interior and exterior of the hospital, with a focus on functionality, patient comfort, and efficient workflow. The Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development served as the primary investor in this new hospital project.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Hospital Design: Led the design and planning of the new hospital, encompassing both interior and exterior elements to ensure the facility meets current healthcare standards and operational needs.
Medical Facilities Layout: Developed layouts for medical departments, patient rooms, administrative areas, and support spaces, aiming to optimize functionality and patient care.
Project Presentation: Created and delivered comprehensive presentations of the project, including high-quality visualizations and animations, to illustrate the design concepts and ensure alignment with client expectations and project goals.
Textual Documentation: Prepared detailed textual documentation to support the project, including descriptive reports, design rationales, and project specifications, ensuring clear communication of design intentions and requirements.
Results:
The project resulted in the successful development and presentation of a new General Hospital design for Pljevlja. The city has received the project proposal and is currently evaluating whether to proceed with construction. The project has provided a comprehensive plan for a modern healthcare facility that can potentially meet the future needs of the community.
