The problem the project aimed to address was the lack of a user-friendly and accessible platform that offers high-interest returns on investments, with current options being difficult to access and with high fees. The team identified an opportunity to create a platform that connects savvy investors with diverse investment opportunities and allows for investments in multiple types of currencies like BTC, ETH, USDT, and USDC.

The Platform also sought to solve the challenge of people with great ideas being unable to raise capital to fund their projects

To overcome design challenges, the team conducted user research and competitor analysis and created a product requirement document to guide development. The design goal was to create a platform that is easy to use and accessible to all types of users and helps users to grow their money and achieve financial freedom with high-interest returns on investments.

Sketching and wireframing: At the beginning of the design process, the team used sketching and Mid fidelity wireframing as a way to quickly explore different design concepts and layouts for the platform. They created rough sketches of the different screens and features of the platform, which allowed them to quickly iterate on different design ideas and identify the best solutions. They used wireframing to create low-fidelity representations of the platform, which allowed them to test the basic layout and functionality of the platform without getting bogged down in the details.

After the initial sketching and wireframing phase, the team moved on to prototyping. They created working models of the platform, which were used to test the design with users and gather feedback. These prototypes varied in fidelity, from paper sketches to interactive digital models. The team used this phase to test and validate different design concepts, and to identify areas that required further refinement.

Throughout the design process, the team used design thinking and human-centered design methodologies. They always put the user at the center of the design process, with an emphasis on empathy for users, iterative design, and rapid prototyping. The team always considered the user needs, behaviors and environments when making design decisions. They also conducted user research and testing to gather feedback and validate the design solutions.

By using these methods, the team was able to create a user-centered platform that met the specific needs of the target audience. we conducted user research, user testing and validation, to make sure that the final design was tailored to the needs of the user.

The final design of the platform is aesthetically pleasing, with a color scheme of purple and green. The design is easy to use and visually appealing, with a focus on simplicity and intuitive navigation.

The design addresses the problem of providing an accessible and user-friendly investment crowdfunding platform that offers high-interest returns on investments. The home page consists of a list of investments, with the top 3 at the beginning, making it easy for users to find and invest in projects. The flow of the platform is also easy to navigate, starting with the list of investment page, then to the particular project page, and finally, the invest popup with dropdowns to choose the currency to invest with, duration of investment, and the box to pick the amount of blocks the user would like to invest in.

It also allows for investing with multiple currencies like USDT, BTC, ETH, and USDC. Additionally, it provides an easy way to fund the crypto and Naira wallet, allowing users to fund it via QR code or address.

The design was validated through different means (mobile and web versions), firstly it was presented to the stakeholders and they confirmed it was in accordance with their vision, and then external users were invited to test the prototype.

To encourage users to invest more, the team came up with a badge system that rewards users for achieving certain milestones. Users can earn badges by investing more in projects, with badges available for reaching different investment milestones, such as investing up to 10,000 blocks, or being the first to crowdfund in a project. The badge system is scalable, so more badges can be added over time.

The badges are displayed on the user's profile section, with illustrations and an explanation of how it was earned. When the user hovers over a badge, they can see a description of the badge and how it was earned.
