Role: Lead ML Architect Overview

Novai is a medical AI platform created to detect early-stage glaucoma using multimodal imaging and machine learning. As CTO, I led architecture, modeling, and the product’s clinical readiness.

Designed the ML pipeline for analyzing OCT scans, retinal imagery, and patient data.

Implemented preprocessing workflows for clarity, noise reduction, and cross-modality alignment.

Built PyTorch-based training loops focused on early-detection accuracy and model explainability.

Added visual interpretability tools (heatmaps, feature localization) to support clinician trust.

Shaped validation workflows around sensitivity thresholds and diagnostic reliability.

Designed physician-facing interfaces featuring clear markers, trends, and progression tracking.

Delivered a stable platform capable of integrating with hospital systems and imaging devices.
