The client, Beauty is a visual artist based in Indonesia. She wants to expand her reach to the international market and capture leads she gained through offline events. Previously she purely relied on offline events and art galleries to gain traffic for her arts.

When the client comes to me, she doesn't really know what she needs & wants. She thought of a website as a CV and wanted to include as much information as possible. She also didn't have any style references or inspiration for the design language of her website.

I started the process by identifying her style preference, so I asked her to send me her Pinterest mood board and her favorite e-commerce websites.

Based on what she sent me, I gathered my own mood board & website inspiration that suits her style.

I looked through popular & small artists' websites to understand the industry's best practices.

On our strategy call, I presented my mood board and explained the industry's best practices, and once she agreed on the direction we moved forward to structure the sitemap and each page's information architecture.
