🍽️ 15 seats. One busy host. A clearer way to book.
I built Dixit Desk for Tavola Club Dinner, a fictional private dining event in Hackney, London.
The brief: help a host juggling dinner preparation, dietary requests and limited seats manage bookings without tracking everything across messages.
✨ How it works
Hosts create an evening, set capacity and packages, then share one event link. Guests choose a package and request seats. The host reviews each request; approval holds the seats, and a simulated deposit confirms the booking.
📊 One dashboard brings together requests, held seats, confirmed bookings and remaining capacity.
The aim: less manual seat counting and a clear booking record for every guest.
🛠️ Built with @Lovable, with Claude Code supporting development and OpenAI Codex helping with testing, documentation and the demo video.
🧪 This is a working prototype: deposits are simulated. Stripe payments and booking emails are planned next.
