Summary:

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated a change toward an increasingly distributed world. Beyond the pandemic, people will continue to explore new ways to interact with each other when physically far apart, new ways that feel more meaningful and more human. This change allows us to question how social connections, networks, gathering, making, and student agency might be transformed for the better within higher education. Reimagining campus life and immersing students in the challenge of creating the university experience of the present future. The Culture Coop allows college students to experience studying abroad virtually. Students will be exposed to different cultural elements in the region they're trying to explore. Each two-week module contains educational, social, and hands-on exposure to a particular aspect of regional culture. The prototype shows what selecting the United States could look like for the website.
