Lowkey Club — Custom Product Store & Design Tool

Lowkey Club is an online store for custom printed products — garments, mugs and bags — where the customer brings their own artwork.
I designed and built it end to end.

The problem

Custom-product stores usually make you choose between two bad options: a form where you upload a file and hope for the best, or a configurator so elaborate that it becomes the product.
The customer needs to see what they're buying before they commit, and that has to happen without a designer in the loop.

What it does

The customer picks a product, uploads their image, positions and scales it directly on the item, and requests a quote. The preview updates live as they move things around.
Quote-based rather than instant checkout, because custom print jobs have variables — quantity, material, print method — that a fixed price can't absorb honestly.

Design decisions

The interaction has to disappear. Dragging and resizing artwork on a product should feel obvious enough that nobody has to think about it. Most of the work went into making the manipulation feel direct rather than instructing people how to use it.
The store has to stay a store. A customization tool can easily swallow the browsing experience. Product discovery, the catalog and the visual identity had to hold their own alongside the configurator.
Mobile matters most. People arrive from social. If positioning artwork on a garment only works with a mouse, most visitors never get to try it.

Scope

Visual identity, UX, front-end build, the customization interface and the quote flow. End to end.
