The client- An independent business who runs an Etsy shop of handmade knit and crochet wear.

My role & responsibilities: Brand design, logo concepts and style guide design.

To create a brand unique to them and their style. To create a few logos for their brand and style guide to follow as a business.

➕ To create a style unique to to the small business that will stand out from the crowd on multiple platforms from Etsy and Instagram, to live markets and meet-ups.

➕ To create a brand style that is youthful and can relate to a younger generation.

➕ To bring their brand to life so they have a professional looking appearance.

➕To balance the complexity with reasonable timeline and budget.

⛏ The challenge was to bring character into this brand design without falling into a "grandma-like" style. It needed to be fresh, unique and the ability to stand out to a younger crowd.

Branding for a crochet/knit wear business. The aim was to create something that draws younger people in, since crochet and knitwear things tend to be more for Grandmothers. But this is moody and bold, but also is very welcoming.

I loved working on the project. It gave me a lot of knowledge of brand design, and how to achieve a design that helps a small business stand out from the crowd.
