An Instagram campaign I created over 4 years for an annual outdoor event in which several musicians, poets and performance actors performed around campfires at night.
2020 & 2021
Each year the event had a slightly different theme. The thrust of the first two iterations was on journeying into the woods to enjoy intimate sessions around campfires with the performing artists. I minimised text to maximise impact, and employed strong oranges, reds and yellows to capture the feeling of flames, and to unify the campaign. I worked with both headshots of the performers (not always in good resolution!), and professional photos of the event itself.
2022
The theme of the 3rd year was ‘Women in Power’. Collaborating with a pro photographer, I styled stunning publicity pics, and created a series of artist-focussed images, maintaining identical layout and text to unify the campaign.
2023
The 4th year’s theme was ‘The Garden of Good Evil’. Again I collaborated with a pro photographer to evoke the somewhat spooky atmosphere of the event. The muted colour palette and elegant 19th century-inspired font perfectly matched the theme.
