Technical Assessment Platform

Luis Arvelo

The company needed to launch as fast as possible. Their main feature was an in-browser IDE to facilitate technical skill assessments for hiring, with optional pair programming.
My responsibilities were designing APIs with Ruby on Rails and employing multithreaded jobs with Sidekiq to handle real-time code collaboration. Also, I work in the front end with React.js, integrating technologies like Code Mirror and Monaco Editor. And prevent any bugs that users might encounter in their hiring process, with RSpec, Capybara and Selenium.
The company had a successful launch, redefining how technical assessments are conducted, and empowering companies to evaluate candidates through immersive coding challenges executed within the browser.
