Client Request“We need a powerful, centralized management dashboard for our e-commerce store. The goal is to provide our operations team with a real-time overview of sales performance, inventory alerts, and customer engagement. We need a system that highlights low-stock emergencies while tracking complex revenue trends throughout the year.”

About ProjectLuminous is an enterprise-level retail intelligence platform designed for store owners and inventory managers. It aggregates disparate data points – from order volume and conversion rates to individual product performance – into a clean, actionable interface that drives data-backed business decisions.

User Challenges Retail managers often face "data fragmentation," where inventory levels are in one system while sales revenue and visitor traffic are in another. This leads to missed opportunities, like failing to restock a top-selling product before it sells out, or failing to understand the correlation between traffic spikes and actual revenue flow.

Our StrategyWe implemented a Proactive Alerting Strategy, making the most urgent business data the focal point of the dashboard. By using a bold, high-contrast "hero" banner for inventory warnings and color-coded trend indicators (Green for growth, Red for decline), we ensured that the user’s attention is always directed to where it is needed most.

Our SolutionsPriority Inventory Alerts: Designed a prominent "Attention" banner that identifies specific low-stock items (e.g., "3 products are running low") with a direct call-to-action to view inventory.KPI Performance Grid: Created a high-level summary of Orders (5,238), Visitors (2,304), Revenue ($8,540), and Conversion Rate (83.4%), with percentage comparisons to the previous month.Revenue & Order Visualization: Integrated multi-layered charts, including a bar chart for monthly order performance and a dual-line graph for Revenue Flow (tracking Income vs. Expenses).Target Tracking & Top Sellers: Built a circular progress widget to monitor Monthly Targets (76.5% complete) alongside a detailed ledger of top-performing products like the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Olek Wireless Headset.
