FANG CAST – A Vampire Podcast Brand Identity

That single thought became the foundation for Fang Cast — a fictional podcast brand identity inspired by gothic storytelling, horror cinema, and the intimacy of modern podcast culture. After watching Sinners, I became obsessed with the idea of vampires existing in today’s world not as monsters hiding in castles, but as personalities with voices, opinions, conversations, and stories to tell.

I wanted to explore what that world would look and feel like visually.

So instead of creating just a logo, I built an entire identity system around the concept.

Fang Cast is a vampire-themed podcast that exists somewhere between horror, satire, storytelling, and late-night conversation. The goal was to make the brand feel cinematic, immersive, expressive, and memorable — almost like a podcast you’d genuinely discover on Spotify at 2AM.

I didn’t want the identity to rely on overused horror clichés alone. Instead, I wanted it to feel modern, youthful, loud, and slightly playful while still carrying the mystery and tension associated with vampire lore.

The challenge became:

“How do you make vampires feel contemporary without losing their darkness?”

That question shaped every design decision throughout the project.
