Case Study: Curative – “Wrapped” Year-in-Review Video

Curative wanted to close 2024 by celebrating its milestones, culture, and collective achievements through an engaging internal video that could bring employees together and highlight the impact of their work. The goal was to create a dynamic “Wrapped”-style year-in-review piece that condensed an entire year of progress into a visually captivating and emotionally energizing experience. Our team contributed by leading all 2D animation, shaping the motion language and visual rhythm that unified the story into a cohesive celebratory message.

Context & Challenge

As a fast-growing healthcare and wellness company, Curative relies heavily on the commitment, innovation, and adaptability of its internal teams. The year-end recap serves as a moment of reflection and recognition—an opportunity to show employees the tangible outcomes of their work and reinforce a sense of shared purpose. The challenge was to translate a large volume of information—numbers, milestones, accomplishments, cultural moments—into a video that felt fun, human, and emotionally uplifting rather than corporate or data-heavy. It needed to surprise and energize employees who already know the internal story, presenting familiar achievements through a fresh visual lens.

Insight

Year-in-review videos resonate most deeply when they showcase not just results, but the people behind them. Employees want to see themselves reflected in the story—through shared values, team moments, growth, and collective wins. For Curative, this meant creating a piece that moved quickly, played with tempo, and balanced data with humanity. The animation had to convey progress and momentum without losing warmth or sincerity. Production Approach

Our team led the 2D animation process, ensuring every moment aligned visually with Curative’s brand identity. Illustrations and screen elements were carefully animated to emphasize speed, clarity, and momentum, reflecting a year filled with transformation.
