Multilingual WordPress site with custom theme for Tourism agency

Custom Webdesign
We first worked closely with a client to create a UI design that would reflect their needs. Based on similar projects they liked & the functionalities they needed we created the designs in Figma for approximately 15 different layouts in their mobile, tablet & desktop variants.
Custom theme development in WordPress
Instead of opting for a pre-prepared theme, we created our own from scratch. This enables maximum flexibility when working with WordPress and the look & functionalities can be adapted as much as needed to the project needs. In the WordPress backend, we created the whole page-building logic with custom fields, where the user can edit almost any aspect of the site, in up to three languages.
Custom map & vendor display
We implemented a custom map where various vendors are being displayed. They are categorized by type (Attraction, Restaurant, Bar, Accommodation & other) and can be filtered. In the WordPress backend, the vendors can be edited as required.
Custom event list & filters
There was also a custom event display required by the client. This list of events can filtered by category and month of display. In addition, chosen external parties can also add these events to the WordPress backend via pre-prepared accounts.
