New Spark - an AI-centered application for insights

The product is a web application for marketing analysts. It automates the process of sourcing by machine learning showing the life cycle of trends, and helping to understand which one is the most promising. Carefully defined operating principles and user profiles (marketing departments of large corporations) helped determine the direction of user experience design: ease of use that would enhance their daily work.

With this project, I have faced a few interesting challenges:

Finding a way to present data to users who don’t work with it daily.

Simplifying marketing definitions, so that the user could quickly understand how to behave and what are the relations between the values displayed on the chart.

Creating quite an unusual chart, as it’s one of the key elements of the application. I designed it from scratch, based on dry data provided by the client. I had to think carefully about what to put on the axes, how to mark zones, and how to show the change of values in time.

In conclusion, this project was an exciting and challenging journey that allowed me to showcase my skills in product design, data analysis, and problem-solving. I faced some interesting challenges along the way, such as figuring out how to present complex data to users who don't work with it on a daily basis and simplifying marketing definitions to make them easily understandable. One of the highlights of the project was the in-depth analysis I was able to conduct with the stakeholders, which allowed me to truly understand their needs and come up with a solution that would bring value to their daily work and ultimately to the business. I also had the chance to let my creativity run wild while designing the chart, which turned out to be a key element of the application.
