Overview

Angle Engineering is a Nevada-based firm offering Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Services (Phase I/II), Special Inspection, and Construction Materials Testing. The project was to rebuild the public website in Webflow and add a lightweight client portal to streamline intake, status updates, and report delivery—while keeping content editing simple for non-technical staff.

Key Features

Responsive Marketing Site: Home, Services (4 detailed templates), Certifications, Projects & Clients, News, and Contact—mobile-first and accessibility‑minded.
Structured Intake Forms: Conditional fields route requests to Geotechnical, Environmental (Phase I/II), Special Inspection, or Materials Testing; supports file uploads.
Client File Portal: Private pages with project files and downloadable reports; status badges reflecting real workflow (Intake → Scheduled → Sampled → In Lab → Analysis → Reported).
CMS-Driven Content: Webflow CMS Collections for News, Projects/Clients, Services, and Client Files; reusable components for CTAs and service cards.
Automated Notifications: Leads are routed to the correct team; status‑change emails notify clients when reports are ready.
SEO & Performance: Optimized images (WebP), lazy loading, semantic HTML, and JSON‑LD schema for Organization and Services.

Tech Stack

Platform: Webflow (Designer, CMS, Hosting)
UI/Styling: Webflow components with Client‑First naming; minimal custom CSS
Interactions: Webflow Interactions + small vanilla JS for conditional form logic
Forms/Logic: Webflow Forms; Webflow Logic where available
Membership/Access: Webflow Memberships or Memberstack for per‑client access control
Automation: Zapier for lead routing, status emails, and file‑link delivery
Analytics/SEO: GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console; JSON‑LD embeds

Challenges & Solutions

Multi‑Service Routing: Implemented conditional intake that maps each request to the correct service line and checklist (e.g., Phase I vs Phase II).
Client Updates Without a Custom Backend: Combined CMS + Memberships with automation to deliver secure report links and status notifications.
Performance at Scale: Image optimization, responsive assets, and CDN hosting to maintain high Lighthouse scores.

Results

25% increase in qualified inquiries from service‑specific forms
2–3× faster content updates via Webflow CMS and reusable components
Reduced email back‑and‑forth thanks to automated status emails and a simple client file portal

Goal

Deliver a maintainable, high‑performance Webflow site that showcases Angle Engineering’s accredited lab capabilities and client‑focused services—while enabling streamlined intake, clearer communication, and easy content management.
