This project was built as a submission for the Google Stitch x Contra Challenge.
Break Your Prejudices is an interactive web experience that turns the abstract concept of prejudice into something you can confront head-on, starting with an actual boss fight.
The Experience
Boss Fight
Once you defeat the boss, the real site unfolds:
The Shrine: An 8-bit shrine sits at the top, setting the tone for everything below.
Famous Words: Three cards featuring famous people and their words about prejudice.
Prejudice Types: A horizontal slider showcasing different forms of prejudice: race, money, color, and more.
About Me: A personal section grounding the project in who made it and why.
The site opens with prejudiced words assembling on screen. You hit "Begin," and that's your loader. What follows is a full 8-bit boss fight against PREJUDICE itself, set in a pixel-art arena.
Main Screen
The Loop
At the bottom, there's a button: "Leave my prejudices and take me to the top." Click it, and you teleport back up to the shrine. And beneath the shrine, there's a "Fight with prejudices again" button that drops you right back into the boss fight from the opening.
The whole experience is a loop. You fight, you learn, you let go, and you can always choose to fight again.
Technical Approach
Built entirely with Google Stitch. The 8-bit aesthetic, the boss fight mechanic, the horizontal slider, the teleport navigation: all constructed within Stitch's generative web framework.
