Shipping Industry Email Integration

The client was interested in switching from Office365 to a different email provider that was more oriented on the shipping line of business.

The main challenge in this project was that the migration had to be done in multiple steps, which implied that for some time, some users would still use Office365, while others were migrated to the new system.

The client had a mailing and templating system in place which used Office 365 and that had to be adapted in order to use the new system.

My role on this project was to coordinate a team of 3 developers and 2 testers, participate in the discovery and design phase as well as provide ongoing low level design documents which detailed the changes to be made.

I was also hands on with some development aspects, including bootstraping the project and creating an initial version.
