Product Overview

CircleHalo bridges the gap between storefront checkout and backend production for high-touch, made-to-order e-commerce brands.
Standard e-commerce platforms stop at payment confirmation. CircleHalo begins right after checkout, managing complex custom files, production queues, multi-tier team assignments, and automated status tracking within a single interface. As the sole Full-Stack Engineer on this project, I architected and delivered the end-to-end platform, encompassing UI design, frontend application development, API integrations, and headless CMS structure.

The Challenge

Traditional fulfillment tools assume inventory is static and ready to ship. Made-to-order e-commerce requires an entirely different operational mental model:
Every order carries custom specifications, dynamic files, and variable production times.
Operations stall when status updates rely on manual messaging across fragmented tools.
High data density often leads to cluttered UI, slowing down daily fulfillment teams.
The goal was to design an infrastructure that absorbs operational complexity without compromising dashboard usability or execution speed.
Product system: reusable UI patterns across 40+ application screens

Technical Architecture & My Role

I owned the entire full-stack lifecycle, translating business logic into a production-ready ecosystem:
Product Design & Systems: Designed 40+ application screens using a unified design system. Built reusable UI patterns for data tables, status badges, contextual drawers, and complex filters.
Frontend Engineering: Built a responsive, high-performance interface with Next.js, prioritizing fast table rendering, instant client-side filtering, and smooth state updates.
Backend Infrastructure: Engineered custom Node.js and Strapi backend workflows to handle automated order routing, status triggers, and third-party store integrations.
Modular Headless CMS: Structured 60+ reusable Strapi components, enabling the content team to launch dynamic marketing pages without engineering overhead.
Order workflow: from incoming orders to production rules and fulfillment

Engineering Impact & Results

Unified Operations: Eliminated manual handoffs by routing live store orders directly into dynamic production queues.
Scalable UI System: Reduced feature delivery time for new modules through a library of composable frontend components.
Zero Overhead CMS: Granted full landing page assembly freedom to marketing teams via structured Strapi content blocks.
