Supplier price normalization without currency conversion

This study prepares an 18-row synthetic supplier price list containing MYR, USD and SGD. Every source row is retained, product identifiers remain text and different currencies remain distinct. No currency conversion or conversion-rate assumption is used.

The agreed demonstration rules produce 11 text-normalization events and 14 exact numeric parses. Four comma-containing prices remain unchanged and are flagged for confirmation. There are 14 READY rows and 4 REVIEW rows under the stated rules, with 29 total normalization, parsing and review events.

Deliverables include original and prepared CSV files, an issues table, a cell-level changes table and a three-sheet XLSX demonstration. Original whitespace and source text are retained separately so every normalization remains traceable.

Workbook export/reimport, three-sheet rendering, independent CSV/OpenXML checks and file hashes were verified. Leading-zero SKUs remain strings and the four ambiguous prices remain source text. This is a demonstration of defined checks, not paid client work or a guarantee that underlying prices are correct. No Microsoft Excel desktop test was performed.
