In 2025, Brave is looking to have more fun with the product and create a more unique browser for everyone. One way to do it is through customizable app icons. Taking inspiration from classic and iconic designs, like Netscape's logo, to MacOS Aqua style, classic design trends like 80s design, holographic, etc.

I worked on the initial set of custom icons for Brave. We're exploring expanding the set through community submissions and social media voting to select the next batches.
