While in grad school -- earning our MBAs -- my wife and I founded a small Medical Device company, which we then ran for the next 10 years.
During this time, along with being the CEO, Head Janitor, and Junior Scientist, I was also the CFO / bookkeeper.

During my time working with large Medical Device & Pharmaceutical firms. , I created and managed pro-forma (future-looking) enterprise-wide program budgets and P&Ls (Income Statements), Balance Sheets, and numerous other financial tools & reports.
