Web application pentesting for Evoque Group

I was contracted by Evoque Group to perform a comprehensive penetration test on two critical web applications to evaluate their security posture and identify potential vulnerabilities. The project required a multi-layered approach, combining manual penetration testing with Automated Scanning Validation (ASV) to ensure a thorough assessment of application security and compliance with industry standards.

The manual testing phase involved in-depth analysis to uncover logical flaws, misconfigurations, and exploitable vulnerabilities that automated tools might overlook. This was complemented by ASV scanning to detect common vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps effectively.

Deliverables included a detailed vulnerability assessment report, prioritizing risks based on severity, and actionable remediation steps. I also provided post-assessment consultation, guiding Evoque Group’s development team through mitigation strategies to strengthen application defenses and maintain long-term security.

The project reinforced Evoque Group’s security framework and compliance standards, enhancing their resilience against evolving cyber threats.
