Project Overview
Spec Brief: Craft a story-driven testimonial email for Vinh Giang's brand. Vinh is a communication coach and the founder of STAGE Academy.
Goal: Use a real client transformation story to build trust, collapse objections, and move warm leads to the lead magnet.
Email type: Nurture Email | Testimonial | Lead Magnet Promotion
Audience: Ambitious professionals and entrepreneurs (28–50) who struggle to express their ideas with confidence, clarity, and impact.
My Strategy
Vinh's audience is full of smart, capable people who go quiet the moment they have to speak. They stopped believing their voice was worth hearing.
We use a client testimonial in a vivid story, which does what a hard pitch could never do. His reader finishes that story thinking: if he could, maybe I could too!
From there, the email has one job. Get the reader into Vinh's lead magnet, his free 3-part communication series.

Meet Neil, a 33-year-old consultant from Chicago.
He’s always been the smart kid.
