GeEm: Mobile App for HR Tracking & Internal Communication

Project Overview & Use Context Employee Management is a mobile application designed to simplify HR tracking within a team, making it easier to share information between supervisors and their employees. The platform centralizes essential data (absences, remarks, performance notes) directly into the director's personal file, while also offering a simple communication channel that lets employees easily reach out to their supervisor.

Development Approach & Architecture For fast deployment and flexible data management, I used Flutter to deliver a smooth, native mobile app on both iOS and Android. Instead of a traditional database, I chose Google Sheets as the storage backend, allowing directors to access and review data directly in a familiar spreadsheet environment, without heavy server infrastructure.

The app includes an Offline/Online synchronization system, ensuring that employees and supervisors can keep viewing and entering information even without an internet connection, with automatic data syncing once the connection is restored. A JSON export/sharing feature also enables data interoperability with other tools.
