Our lives are so busy that straight after waking up we rush to get ready and move out for work. We at times forget that we are humans, we are alive because of our bodies. We must take care of this body otherwise the suffering won't be far.
I believe we all are guilty of the lifestyle that we have. Breakfast we agree is the most important part of the day. But the nutritionist says that we should have breakfast at least after 2 hours of waking up.
They advise starting the day with a small snack or drink, which boosts our metabolism and makes us ready for the whole day.
I personally have been trying to follow a lifestyle where I have some healthy snacks in the early morning. Because I believe surely, they pay a lot to our health. So, consider them making a major part of the routine.
1. Cumin /coriander seeds
Cumin seeds, also known as jeera in Hindi play a major role in digestion. It is known as traditional medicine. As it helps with various health-related problems. It also helps in increasing the Biles f from the liver which helps to digest fats. They help control sugar levels to some extent as well as cholesterol. Also, these are rich in iron which is a huge need of the body.
How to consume?
Soak the seeds in normal drinking water at night. Next morning drink that water after filtering the seeds from it.
2. Soaked almonds
We have heard a lot about eating soaked almonds. Usually, our adults say it helps in increasing our memory and it does as per the studies. It contains manganese, vitamin E, protein, fiber, omega-3, and omega 6 fatty acids. It is the most nourishing nut available in the market with some rich properties.
How to consume?
1. Soak the almonds overnight. Next morning peel the layer and eat it. 2. You also soak almonds make a paste of it and apply it to your face or skin for glowing and repaired skin. It helps in many skin problems like treating skin inflammation. 3. You can also soak almonds overnight or for 2 days in milk. And then drink the healthy tasty milk as you like.
3. Warm water& honey
Honey is a natural substitute for processed sugar which is used in many items. It is very obvious that just working out doesn't reduce our weight. Change in the diet also helps in that. Adding honey to the routine will help to lose weight. Moreover, it contains minerals, vitamins, and enzymes that are essential to keep your gut clean. It also helps in flushing out the toxins and boosts the metabolism. It helps in improving digestive health also.
How to consume?
1. In the morning take warm water and add 1tbs of honey to it. mix it well. And drink it. 2. Mix 1 tbs of honey with lemon add water to this and drink it.
4. Alovera/amla juice
Aloe vera has lots of benefits to it. We all know how beautifully it works for the skin. It makes it smooth and radiant. It also promotes hair growth and it is used for heartburn relief. It also boosts the immunity system and balances out hormonal problems.
How to consume?
1. You can have them directly as aloe vera juices are available in the market.
2. You can mix it in your smoothie/ juice.
5. Papaya/watermelon
Do you remember the amount of water a watermelon contains? Well, it's a lot. Moreover, so are the benefits of it. Also, the benefits of papaya are not hidden. Papaya helps in many health-related issues like hormonal balance. Both of them provide clear and healthy skin. Having these fruits in the early morning helps to clean the toxins from the body. Also, the watermelon keeps you hydrated.
How to consume?
1. Make the juice of the watermelon/papaya by crushing them in the mixer.
2. Just cut them into slices and eat.
These were some very simple yet very essential snacks for the body. There are various medicines available in the market for such health-related issues.
