Appears I should give it a second thought.
Before I continue with my story, can we all agree that a culture of silence perpetuates bullying? Good!
Yesterday, during a podcast recording/Expert interview, we explored a topic that's not typical for Techpoint Africa but really important: the scary issue of bullying in our educational institutions.
THE BABY LOUNGE CEO, Itoro Ngorji and I discussed how these facilities must engage in preventive measures—most importantly, supervision—to curb bullying, rather than relying solely on post-mortem solutions.

As the conversation continued, I found myself sharing the story of the bullying I endured for four years in boarding school with my guest and the production crew. It was a deeply personal moment, and I asked myself, "Knowing traumatic experiences like this usually change people, how did it change me?"
I don't know why I asked that question, but since yesterday, I haven't been able to get it out of my mind.

Pheeew! I have so many questions. But let's move on.
Anyway, the discussion has left me pondering the long-term impacts of bullying and the importance of addressing these issues head-on.
What are your thoughts on the use of supervision and manned CCTV systems as preventive measures against bullying?
Have you or someone you know experienced the long-lasting effects of bullying? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
